Our host, David, was friendly and welcoming, making sure we had a great stay. He even arranged underground parking for us, which was very handy. The property was just as pictured, and the gardens were even more impressive in person. Sous Les Courtines was a great find.

The view from the living room of this property was absolutely breathtaking. It felt like a million dollars to sit in the armchair and gaze out at the stunning castle through the big picture windows. The owners provided an ample and delicious breakfast, with pastries, jam, milk, coffee, fruit. It was such a treat to have everything we needed right there in the gite. Plus, the location was perfect, just a short walk to the castle and plenty of excellent restaurants in the area.

It was also pet-friendly, which was a bonus for us. Although we wished for a traditional toilet in the primary bedroom and a fan in the bedroom, it didn't detract from our overall experience. The only other minor inconvenience was the 10 am check-out time, but that aside, we had a fantastic time. We highly recommend Sous Les Courtines for a quality self-catering accommodation in Carcassonne.
