We loved the magnificent and comfortable house, equipped with everything we needed. The location was stunning, with a beautiful shared garden offering perfect views of the old city. The separate garden parts provided privacy, and we enjoyed the seating areas. The house was conveniently located near a local mini market and within walking distance of both the old and new city. Our host, David, was friendly and welcoming, making sure we had a great stay. He even arranged underground parking for us, which was very handy. The property was just as pictured, and the gardens were even more impressive in person. Sous Les Courtines was a great find.
We felt well taken care of and had no complaints.

We had a lovely Christmas stay at this hotel. The views from the hotel were absolutely stunning, especially at night with the castle all lit up. The location was perfect, just a short walk to all the restaurants and attractions. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, and the staff were helpful and friendly.
The only downside was that the room did not have a fan, which would have been nice during the warmer nights. Additionally, the ensuite bathroom did not have a toilet, which was a bit inconvenient.

The views from the property were absolutely stunning, especially in the evenings. The garden offered a unique and beautiful perspective of the surrounding area. the house was well-equipped, with a fully stocked kitchen that made it easy to prepare meals.
One drawback was the location, as it required an 8-minute walk through a residential area. Although this wasn't a major issue, we did encounter a drunk person on our way back to the property one night, which made us feel a bit unsafe.

The view from the living room of this property was absolutely breathtaking. It felt like a million dollars to sit in the armchair and gaze out at the stunning castle through the big picture windows. The owners provided an ample and delicious breakfast, with pastries, jam, milk, coffee, fruit. It was such a treat to have everything we needed right there in the gite. Plus, the location was perfect, just a short walk to the castle and plenty of excellent restaurants in the area.
The property was a little out of the way, requiring an 8-minute walk through a residential area. Although it was generally fine, we did have a slightly uncomfortable encounter with a drunk person on our way home one night.

We had an amazing stay at Sous Les Courtines. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the old city. The property itself was stunning, with spacious rooms and beautiful views of the Cite from the large windows. We were impressed with how well-appointed the villa was, and it easily accommodated our group of two adults and one child. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and their English was fantastic. The garden was a peaceful oasis with multiple seating areas to enjoy the spectacular views. The villa had all the amenities we needed, including a great kitchen and comfortable bed. It was also pet-friendly, which was a bonus for us. Although we wished for a traditional toilet in the primary bedroom and a fan in the bedroom, it didn't detract from our overall experience. The only other minor inconvenience was the 10 am check-out time, but that aside, we had a fantastic time. We highly recommend Sous Les Courtines for a quality self-catering accommodation in Carcassonne.
